About me and my practice

I'm a Person-Centred Counsellor and Psychotherapist.

I'm a working class man from Sheffield.

My career origins and roots are embedded in specialist education and youth work.

I will work with you, as you are, at your starting point and at your pace.

Essentially, I believe you're the expert in your own experience. I can support you to see, take and leave what you do and don't need. The goal, for me is for you to be to be you. Fully and throughly you.

Relationships are my speciality. Building, navigating and understanding why we are connected or disconnected from ourselves and others, without judgement, safely and with empathy, is what I offer.

I aim to work creatively to deliver what's helpful for you.

Experience

I completed 150 clinical hours as a trainee specialist counsellor at Sheffield Adult Autism and Neurodevelopmemtal Service (SAANS).

I also volunteered 100 clinical hours to Sexual Abuse and Incest Line (SAIL), a Chesterfield charity supporting adult Survivors of Child Sexual Abuse (CSA).

Alongside training and volunteering and I have had employment in education, working with young people at risk of exclusion and who display unmet social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH).

I am now full-time in private practice.

Initial Consultation

I offer a free phone call or Zoom conversation for 15 minutes for us to discover what you want and need from counselling and see if, how and when we can work together.

Fees

I charge £50 per 60 minute session.

When I Work

I currently have 5 hours a week of daytime availability and 1 hour on Saturdays

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
From 11:00 until 13:00

Saturday at 12:00
